Help protect our fresh and salt waters by taking the Chatham H2O Pledge to:

- Skip the fertilizer
- Avoid pesticides
- Conserve water
- Grow a Cape-friendly lawn

The Chatham Water Pledge campaign aims to improve the health and quality of our fresh and salt water by raising public awareness to conserve water and reduce the use of fertilizer and pesticides.

Through these simple, but powerful, actions you’ll make a difference in protecting the quality and quantity of Chatham’s water. And by joining this community of pledgers, you’ll help raise public awareness about the simple positive actions we can all take on our own properties to protect Chatham’s precious waters.

Let’s work together to protect Chatham’s 66 miles of shoreline and 37 ponds. The town of Chatham is hard at work installing sewers to decrease harmful nitrogen levels in our environment; when the project reaches your street, make sure to sewer up! Likewise, our individual actions outlined in the Chatham H2O pledge can help protect Chatham’s salt and fresh water—our most precious resources.
